The Realme C100 focuses on battery life, durability, and practical everyday features rather than premium performance. Its 8,000mAh battery is designed for extended use, with an estimated day-and-a-half to two days of backup, potentially longer with lighter usage. The 45W fast charging helps reduce downtime, while 10W reverse wired charging lets you charge other devices when needed. IP69 dust and water resistance, military-grade shock resistance, and a protective case make it suitable for users who prioritize durability.
The 120Hz LCD display offers smooth scrolling and up to 1200 nits of claimed brightness, helping with outdoor visibility. Running Android 16 with Realme UI 7, the phone includes useful features such as AI photo editing, an automatic Outdoor Mode, split-screen multitasking, and customizable RGB notification lighting. Its 50MP main camera captures respectable daylight photos, while Night Mode can produce useful results in low light when there is sufficient time and some ambient illumination. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration also provides room for apps, photos, and files.
The MediaTek Helio G92 Max handles everyday tasks and casual PUBG gaming, but this is not a dedicated gaming phone. The LCD panel cannot match AMOLED displays for contrast and colour depth, while the 8MP selfie camera is basic. Its single bottom-firing speaker benefits from software volume enhancement but lacks a stereo setup. Low-light photography also requires patience, and AI enhancement can make images look artificially sharpened.
The Infinix Note 60 Edge 5G offers a curved 1.5K AMOLED display, a Dimensity 7100 chipset, 5G connectivity, and a 6,500mAh battery with 45W charging. The Redmi Note 15 Pro also has a 6,500mAh battery and 45W charging, but adds a 200MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and an AMOLED display with higher peak brightness. Both offer more advanced display technology than the Realme C100, while the Infinix adds 5G and the Redmi offers greater camera flexibility. Choose the C100 if battery capacity and ruggedness matter most; consider the alternatives if display quality, connectivity, or photography takes priority.

At Rs. 83,999, the Realme C100 is hard to justify on specs alone. It is built for buyers who care most about battery life and toughness: an 8000mAh battery, IP69 Pro dust and water resistance, military-grade shock resistance and an 8GB RAM + 256GB storage combo.
The weak points are serious at this price:
The Vivo Y500 costs a little less and pairs a similar-size 8100mAh battery with an AMOLED screen and a 32MP selfie camera, while the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro is cheaper still with an AMOLED screen, a 200MP main camera and the stronger Helio G100 Ultra, though with a smaller 5500mAh battery.
Verdict: consider the C100 only if water protection, drop resistance and multi-day battery life matter more to you than the screen and speed; otherwise the rivals give more for the money. If you want the battery without the price, the cheaper Realme C100x keeps the 8000mAh battery.
The Realme C100 has a 6.8-inch IPS LCD with 720 x 1570 (HD+) resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits peak brightness in high brightness mode, with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
The limitation is quality, not brightness. HD+ on a 6.8-inch screen looks soft, and IPS colours and contrast fall well short of the AMOLED panels many phones offer at this price.
The phone uses the MediaTek Helio G92 Max (octa-core, up to 2.4GHz) with 8GB RAM and 256GB eMMC storage. It scored about 380,000 in AnTuTu, which places it in the budget class; in one test the cheaper T7250-based Realme C100x scored slightly higher.
Heating and long gaming sessions were not tested in depth, so sustained performance is not confirmed.
The Realme C100 has a 50MP main camera with an auxiliary sensor on the back and an 8MP selfie camera.
There are also portrait, night, underwater and street photography modes. Overall it is a standard budget camera, not a highlight at this price.
The 8000mAh battery is the Realme C100's biggest strength. Expect around one and a half to two days with normal use, and up to three days with light use; Realme's power-saving modes can stretch it further.
Realme puts a 45W charger in the box, and the phone is promoted with 45W fast charging. It also supports reverse wired charging, so you can top up earbuds, a smartwatch or another phone.
Despite the large battery, the phone stays about 8.6mm thick, though at around 220 grams it is on the heavy side.
The Realme C100 runs Android 16 with Realme UI 7, and unlike older C-series phones it gets the full Realme UI 7 feature set. Highlights include:
Realme has not published an official Android update commitment for this model, so do not count on major upgrades.
The Realme C100 starts from Rs. 83,999 for its only variant, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, with other stores listing it at Rs. 87,999. Check the current store prices on this page before you buy.
Yes, the Realme C100 has a 6.8-inch IPS LCD with HD+ (720 x 1570) resolution, not Full HD or AMOLED. It does run at 120Hz and reaches 1200 nits in high brightness mode, so it is easy to read outdoors.
