Infinix Hot 40 price in Pakistan is Rs. 30,999 (last updated 26 Oct 2026). See all Infinix phones.
The Infinix Hot 40 makes the most sense as a budget phone that gets the everyday basics right, not as the gaming phone its marketing suggests. At Rs. 30,999 it offers a Full HD+ 90Hz display, loud dual stereo speakers, a 32 MP selfie camera and 8GB RAM that keeps daily use smooth. The Helio G88 chip is where the savings show: it handles Free Fire well, but heavier games will push it harder.
The Helio G88 is the main weakness. Its AnTuTu score of around 260,000 is a clear step up from the G85, but the "gaming phone" label oversells a budget chip. The screen tops out at 90Hz, and the extra rear sensors add no ultrawide or zoom.
The Infinix Hot 50 (Rs. 39,999) moves to the newer 6 nm Helio G100 and a smoother 120Hz screen, the better pick for gaming. However, it charges at only 18W against the Hot 40's 33W, and its 8 MP selfie camera is a big step down, so selfie lovers and buyers watching every rupee are better served by the Hot 40.

At Rs. 30,999, the Infinix Hot 40 is good value for buyers who care about screen, sound and selfies more than raw power. You get a Full HD+ 90Hz display, stereo speakers, a 32 MP selfie camera, 8GB RAM, 33W charging, a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC and a dedicated memory card slot.
The compromises are the Helio G88 chip, which is fine for daily use and casual games but not for serious gaming, and a camera setup with no ultrawide lens.
Verdict: a sensible all-rounder for students and everyday users. Gamers should look at the Infinix Hot 50, which has a stronger chip and a 120Hz screen.
The Infinix Hot 40 has a 6.78-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ (1080 x 2460) resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, rated at 500 nits peak.
A Magic Ring animation around the punch-hole camera shows charging status.
The MediaTek Helio G88 (12 nm) with 8GB RAM keeps everyday use smooth, with no noticeable lag in apps or the interface. Its AnTuTu score of around 250,000 to 260,000 is a clear step up from the older Helio G85.
The G88 is still a budget chip, so the "gaming phone" label is more marketing than reality. Heavier games such as PUBG Mobile and long-session heat have not been tested.
The rear has a 50 MP f/1.6 main camera with a 2 MP macro sensor and an extra light sensor. There is no ultrawide or zoom lens, so the main camera does nearly all the work.
Modes include Super Night, Portrait, Macro, Time-lapse, Wide Selfie and Video Beauty.
The Infinix Hot 40 has a 5000 mAh battery with 33W wired charging. Infinix rates it at 20% to 75% in about 35 minutes, which is quick for a budget phone.
Real-world screen-on time has not been measured yet, so battery life cannot be confirmed beyond the capacity.
The Infinix Hot 40 runs XOS 13.5 on Android 13. It has a Special Functions menu with features you do not always find on budget phones:
The Free Fire edition adds a matching theme, icons and ringtones.
Infinix has not published a software update commitment for the Hot 40 that we could verify, so the Android 14 upgrade is not confirmed.
The Infinix Hot 40 costs Rs. 30,999 in Pakistan. Prices can change between shops, so check the store prices on this page before buying.
Not as standard. The cooling fan, lanyard and Free Fire gifts came in a special Free Fire edition box. The regular box includes the phone, a charger, a back cover, a SIM pin and the warranty card.
No. The Infinix Hot 40 uses a 6.78-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ (1080 x 2460) resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is sharp and bright enough outdoors, but blacks and contrast are not as deep as on an AMOLED screen.
Reverse wired charging lets the Hot 40 act as a small power bank. Connect earbuds, a smartwatch or another phone with a USB-C cable and the Hot 40 shares its 5000 mAh battery to charge them.
Yes. The Infinix Hot 40 has a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom, so wired earphones work without an adapter, and its USB Type-C port supports OTG for flash drives and other accessories.
