Oppo A5 Pro price in Pakistan is Rs. 54,999 (last updated 24 Oct 2026). See all Oppo phones.
The Oppo A5 Pro is a phone built to survive rather than impress. Its strongest case is toughness: an internal aluminium alloy frame, shock-absorbing layers around the components, IP68/IP69 protection that covers even hot water, and a body that keeps working after repeated drops. With a 5800mAh battery and 45W charging, it suits careless or outdoor users at Rs. 54,999, though its screen and chip feel dated.
The 720p IPS LCD at 90Hz looks soft next to AMOLED rivals, and the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 is weaker than the Snapdragon 685, so gaming stays basic. Cameras are average, low-light photos are weak, video tops out at 1080p, and ColorOS arrives with many preinstalled apps and game folders.
The Honor X6c costs Rs. 44,995 and offers a smoother 120Hz screen, a headphone jack and a microSD slot, but it has a smaller 5300mAh battery with slower 35W charging, a 5MP selfie camera and only IP64 splash resistance. For durability and battery, the A5 Pro justifies its higher price.

At Rs. 54,999, the Oppo A5 Pro asks you to pay for durability rather than specs. You get IP68/IP69 water and dust protection, military-grade impact resistance, a 5800mAh battery with 45W charging and the charger in the box, 8GB of RAM with up to 256GB of storage, a microSD slot and stereo speakers.
The weak points are the 720p 90Hz LCD, a slow Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 chip, average cameras and plenty of preinstalled apps.
Verdict: worth it if you break phones or work outdoors and want a dependable brand. If a smooth screen or better performance matters more, look at rivals; the Honor X6c at Rs. 44,995 is cheaper but far less water resistant and has a smaller battery.
The A5 Pro has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD with 720 x 1604 resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits in high-brightness mode. It is fine for calls, social media and video, and outdoor visibility is acceptable for a budget LCD.
The front uses Gorilla Glass 7i or AGC DT-Star D+, and the screen kept working without cracks after several face-down drops. After time underwater, no water marks appeared under the LCD.
Limitations: 720p looks noticeably soft on a screen this size, and many rivals offer 120Hz or AMOLED panels.
The Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 (11nm) with Adreno 610 graphics, 8GB of RAM and UFS 2.1 storage is an entry-level chip, with AnTuTu scores around 290,000 to 300,000, below the Snapdragon 685.
Oppo's optimisation helps: apps open quickly, and everyday tasks like calls, WhatsApp and TikTok run fine. There are no app opening and closing animations, which makes the interface feel less polished.
Gaming is basic: PUBG Mobile runs at modest graphics and frame-rate settings, which suits occasional players but not dedicated gamers.
The rear setup pairs a 50MP main camera with a 2MP depth sensor, and the selfie camera is 8MP. In daylight the main camera gives good results for the price, with Oppo's usual colour style.
Low light is weak: night photos are fine for sharing but lack quality. Video tops out at 1080p.
Useful extras include an underwater mode that lets you shoot with the volume keys while submerged, and AI editing tools: AI Eraser 2.0, AI Unblur, AI Reflection Remover and AI Clarity Enhancer. The clarity tool sharpens faces well but can garble text such as number plates, so apply Unblur first.
The phone has a 5800mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and the 45W charger is included. A 10-minute charge is claimed to give 3 to 4 hours of use, and moderate use lasts about two days, helped by the power-efficient 720p screen.
The battery is large, but the Vivo Y29 packs a bigger one at a similar price, and charging speed is about the same between the two.
It runs ColorOS 15 on Android 15, with more AI tools than most rivals at this price: AI Editor tools, AI call recording summaries, Circle to Search and AI Studio for turning photos into new styles. AI Studio gives free points at first, then requires paid points.
The drawback is bloatware: Temu, WPS Office and many games come preinstalled, plus folders such as Must Play, More Apps, Hot Apps and Hot Games. They can be deleted.
Updates: Oppo has not stated an update policy for this model.
It is worth it if durability and battery matter most: it has IP68/IP69 protection, military-grade drop resistance and a 5800mAh battery. If you want a sharp screen or strong performance, its 720p 90Hz LCD and Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 chip are weak for Rs. 54,999.
Choose the A5 Pro for durability: IP68/IP69 against the Y29's IP64, a vegan leather back and more AI editing tools. Choose the Vivo Y29 for a bigger battery, a 120Hz screen, a slightly better camera and smoother performance from its Snapdragon 685. Both have 720p screens and 8MP selfie cameras.
Water can collect in the speaker openings after submersion and muffle the sound. The A5 Pro has a water-removal function: after using it underwater, hold the power button for about 3 seconds and the speaker pushes the water out.
