Apple iPhone 12 price in Pakistan

Apple iPhone 12 price in Pakistan is Rs. 124,999 (last updated 15 Oct 2026). See all Apple phones.

The Apple iPhone 12 is an older iPhone now, but it still makes sense for buyers who value a compact, well-built phone and a dependable camera over the newest hardware. Its 6.1-inch OLED display fixed the biggest weakness of the previous standard iPhone, and the A14 Bionic keeps everyday use quick. The flat aluminium frame feels premium and grippy, though some hands find the square edges less comfortable than a curved back. The trade-off: a polished camera and design, but an older screen and average battery life.

Who it's for

  • Video-focused users, because footage from this camera is reliable, well stabilised and supports Dolby Vision HDR.
  • Owners of an older LCD iPhone, who will notice the sharper, higher-contrast screen in every video and photo.
  • People who prefer a lighter, smaller phone without giving up a 6.1-inch display.

Where it falls short

The 60Hz screen feels dated next to smoother panels, and battery life is only average: heavy use can drain it within a day. There is no charger in the box, the 64GB version fills up quickly, and low-light video can show flare around bright lights.

Worth comparing

At the same price, the Oppo Reno 15F suits buyers who care most about endurance: its much larger battery, 80W charging and 120Hz AMOLED screen fix exactly what the iPhone 12 lacks, although its mid-range chip is weaker for heavy games. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus costs far more but adds a faster chip, a 120Hz display and a dedicated 3x zoom camera, so it suits buyers whose budget stretches.

Apple iPhone 12: Buyer's Guide

Is It Value for Money?

At Rs. 124,999, the Apple iPhone 12 is an older flagship competing with newer mid-range phones. Its strengths are a sharp OLED display, the capable A14 Bionic chip, IP68 water resistance, MagSafe charging and a camera known for consistent photos and very good video.

The compromises are real: a 60Hz screen, average battery life, 4GB RAM, a 64GB base storage option and no charger in the box.

Verdict: it suits buyers who want a compact iPhone with a dependable camera and do not mind charging every day. If battery life and a smooth 120Hz screen matter more, newer Android phones at this price, such as the Oppo Reno 15F, offer more hardware for the money. Check PTA status and battery health before buying.

How Is the Display?

The 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED panel is the biggest upgrade over the iPhone 11's LCD. At 1170 x 2532 pixels it is sharp enough for proper 1080p video, and OLED gives much deeper contrast, which shows most in dark scenes. HDR10 and Dolby Vision support make HDR videos look excellent.

Our database lists 625 nits in high brightness mode and up to 1200 nits peak for HDR content. That is slightly below the iPhone 12 Pro, so outdoor visibility is good rather than class-leading. Independent tests also found the colours very accurate.

The main limitation is the 60Hz refresh rate: scrolling and games look less smooth than on 120Hz phones at this price. Ceramic Shield glass is meant to improve drop protection, but the screen still picks up fine scratches, so a screen protector is sensible.

How Is the Performance?

The Apple A14 Bionic, built on a 5 nm process and paired with 4GB RAM, handles messaging, browsing, social media, photo editing and app switching smoothly. At launch, the step up over the previous chip was hard to notice in daily use, because that chip was already fast; the extra headroom matters more as the phone ages.

The phone can run demanding games, but the 60Hz display limits how smooth they look compared with newer high-refresh phones.

The reviews we used did not test heating or sustained performance in long gaming sessions, so we cannot confirm how it holds up under extended load. On a used unit, battery health is worth checking, since a worn battery can affect how the phone performs under heavy use.

How Is the Camera?

The iPhone 12 has a 12 MP main camera with an f/1.6 aperture and a 12 MP ultrawide. The wider aperture is hard to notice in normal daylight photos; the gains show in harder conditions such as handheld low light, Night mode, fast-moving subjects and shots taken into the sun. Photos keep the familiar iPhone look: crisp, consistent and natural.

Video is the strongest part. It records 4K at up to 60fps and shoots Dolby Vision HDR video, which looks excellent on HDR screens. On most social apps, though, that HDR footage is usually shown as standard video. One weakness is flare in low-light video, with small orbs around bright points of light.

There is no telephoto camera, so zooming is digital only. The 12 MP front camera also records 4K video, which is useful for vlogging and video calls.

How Is the Battery?

The Apple iPhone 12 has a 2815 mAh battery, physically smaller than the previous model's while powering a higher-resolution screen. Real-world battery life is about the same as before: moderate users get through a day, but heavy use or around six hours of screen-on time can drain it by night. 5G also costs battery, which is why Smart Data mode falls back to 4G when 5G speed is not needed.

Wired charging reaches about 50% in 30 minutes with a USB-C Power Delivery charger, but no charger comes in the box, only a USB-C to Lightning cable.

MagSafe wireless charging reaches 15W, and Qi2 chargers also reach 15W after the iOS 17.4 update; older Qi chargers are slower. The MagSafe charger is sold without a power adapter.

How Is the Software?

The iPhone 12 launched with iOS 14 and has received years of major updates since. Our database lists it as upgradable to iOS 26, and Apple's iOS 27 compatibility list still includes the iPhone 12. Apple does not publish a fixed number of years of support, so how long updates continue is an estimate, not a promise.

iOS has no ads, bloatware or duplicate apps, and Face ID handles unlocking and payments.

Apple Intelligence is not supported on this model; Apple limits it to the iPhone 15 Pro and newer, so the latest AI features are missing even on the newest iOS.

In Pakistan, a non-PTA unit cannot keep using a local SIM, so confirm PTA status before buying.

Apple iPhone 12: Questions Buyers Ask

What is the price of the iPhone 12 in Pakistan?

Our current listed price for the Apple iPhone 12 is Rs. 124,999. Shop prices change often and depend on storage, condition and PTA status, so compare the exact variant before you buy.

Does the iPhone 12 come with a charger?

No. The box contains the phone and a USB-C to Lightning cable, with no charger and no earphones. For fast charging you need a separate USB-C Power Delivery adapter, which reaches about 50% in 30 minutes.

Does the iPhone 12 have a 120Hz display?

No. The iPhone 12 has a 60Hz OLED display. It is sharp and has excellent contrast, but scrolling and games look less smooth than on phones with 120Hz screens.

Does MagSafe charging work through a normal case?

Yes, as long as the case is thin enough. MagSafe charging works through most thin non-MagSafe cases, and the magnets can still hold through some of them. A MagSafe case gives the most secure alignment.

Which colours does the iPhone 12 come in?

The iPhone 12 was made in six colours: Black, White, Red, Green, Blue and Purple. Purple came later as an extra colour with no hardware changes. Shops may not stock every colour, so check availability locally.

Does the iPhone 12 have a USB-C port?

No. The phone still uses a Lightning port; only the cable in the box has a USB-C connector on the other end, so it plugs into USB-C chargers.
