Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max price in Pakistan

Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max price in Pakistan is Rs. 614,999 (last updated 24 Oct 2026). See all Apple phones.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max is a premium flagship built around excellent battery life, powerful performance, and consistently strong cameras, particularly for video recording. Its biggest practical improvement is endurance, with a larger battery supporting extended daily use, while improved thermal management helps maintain performance during gaming, navigation, photography, and demanding workloads. The 120Hz display remains bright and smooth, and the smaller Dynamic Island creates a less distracting viewing experience. The variable-aperture main camera adds manual creative control, although its benefits are more noticeable for photography enthusiasts than casual users. For buyers planning to keep a premium iPhone for several years, the combination of performance, battery life, and polished iOS experience makes it a capable long-term option.

Who it's for

  • Heavy users and travellers who need dependable battery life for long days away from a charger.
  • Content creators and mobile videographers who value consistent video quality, strong low-light recording, and manual camera controls.
  • Buyers seeking a long-term flagship with smooth software, powerful performance, and enough capability for several years of demanding use.

Where it falls short

The iPhone 18 Pro Max is heavy and bulky, which may become uncomfortable for users with smaller hands. Its design and display remain close to the previous generation, making the upgrade less compelling for existing Pro Max owners. The variable aperture adds creative flexibility, but it does not dramatically improve everyday photos in most situations. The display also lacks the built-in privacy feature available on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, while premium pricing makes the relatively modest generational changes harder to justify.

Worth comparing

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra offers a more versatile zoom camera system, an integrated S Pen, and a built-in privacy display, making it worth considering for photography flexibility and productivity. The Google Pixel 11 Pro XL is an alternative for buyers who prefer Google's Android experience and particularly strong portrait selfies. Meanwhile, the vivo X300 Ultra combines a versatile camera system with a larger battery and substantially faster charging, appealing to photography enthusiasts who want more hardware flexibility. The iPhone remains especially compelling for consistent video quality, battery endurance, and the iOS experience, so the choice depends on which strengths matter most to you.

Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max: Buyer's Guide

Is It Value for Money?

At Rs. 614,999 for the 256GB model listed on W4Mobiles, the iPhone 18 Pro Max is a luxury purchase, and whether it is good value depends on your current phone.

  • Strengths: outstanding sustained performance, top-tier battery life, the best video recording on a phone and a durable build with IP68.
  • Weaknesses: heavy, few changes from the 17 Pro Max, weaker zoom than Chinese and Samsung flagships, and a price far above the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

For owners of a 15 Pro Max or older, the upgrade in battery, speed and low-light photos is substantial and the phone should last many years. For 17 Pro Max owners, it is hard to justify. In Pakistan, wait for the official PTA-approved stock rather than an unofficial import: it usually works out cheaper once tax is paid and comes with a proper warranty.

How Is the Display?

The 18 Pro Max uses a 6.9 inches LTPO OLED (Super Retina XDR) with ProMotion up to 120Hz and up to 3000 nits outdoors. In side-by-side use it looks practically identical to the 17 Pro Max: sharp, bright and smooth, with a very slightly cooler colour tone.

The Dynamic Island is smaller because part of the Face ID hardware now sits under the screen. The change is easy to spot when the phone is unlocked, though not everyone finds the extra space useful. Face ID stays just as quick, even at night.

The weak points are glare and privacy. The anti-reflective coating has barely improved and does not control reflections as well as the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which also offers a privacy display mode that the iPhone lacks. Strong haptics and slightly richer, clearer speaker tuning round out a very good media experience.

How Is the Performance?

The A20 Pro is a 2-nanometer chip with a 6-core CPU and a 7-core GPU. Apple moved the RAM beside the chip, raising memory bandwidth by about half and making room for a vapor chamber three times larger than before.

  • Everyday use: extremely fast, but a 17 Pro Max user will not feel a difference in daily apps. From a 15 Pro Max or 14 Pro Max, the jump is large.
  • Gaming: average frame rates are within a few percent of the 17 Pro Max, but the 18 Pro Max holds performance over long sessions and runs a couple of degrees cooler. A month-long review rated it the top phone for gaming this year.
  • Heat: about half an hour of outdoor video recording passed without an overheating warning. In lab stress tests the frame does get warm, because the cooling moves heat out of the chip and into the body.

How Is the Camera?

The main camera gains a variable aperture from f/1.48 to f/4; the ultrawide, 4x telephoto and selfie cameras are the same as on the 17 Pro Max.

  • Low light: the wider aperture gives slightly sharper, cleaner night shots and quicker capture. In daylight the difference is small for point-and-shoot users.
  • Creative control: f/1.48 gives natural background blur, especially for 2x close-ups, while f/4 keeps more in focus and creates starburst effects around lights.
  • Portraits: processing is more consistent, with richer skin tones and finer detail than the 17 Pro Max.
  • Zoom: good up to 8x, then detail softens and falls behind Oppo and Vivo zoom flagships. The telephoto still cannot do close-up macro, and the ultrawide shows noise in low light.
  • Selfies and video: the square-sensor selfie camera remains excellent, and video is still the class leader, now with cinematic mode at 4K 60fps and pro controls while filming.

How Is the Battery?

Apple does not list capacities, but our database shows 5391 mAh for the physical-SIM model and 5567 mAh for the eSIM-only model. Pakistan is expected to get the physical-SIM version, with the slightly smaller battery.

Real-world results are excellent. A month-long review found about 1.5 to 2 hours more battery life than the 17 Pro Max, and in a timed test of demanding apps it outlasted a rival with a much larger silicon-carbon battery. Apple quotes up to 45 hours of video playback.

Charging is faster than before: Apple quotes 50% in about 15 minutes with a high-wattage USB-C adapter, and MagSafe wireless charging reaches 25W. Only a USB-C cable comes in the box, so budget for a fast charger.

How Is the Software?

The iPhone 18 Pro Max ships with iOS 27. Apple does not publish a fixed support period, but recent iPhones have typically received around six to seven years of iOS updates; treat this as an estimate.

Siri is noticeably more capable this year. It can pull in real-time information and summarise it, understands personal context and what is on screen better, and can build custom shortcuts from a voice request. It still relies on other apps for some tasks and is not yet a full personal assistant.

The camera app is more flexible, with a histogram, focus peaking and editable pro controls, and Photographic Styles can now adjust skin texture. iOS has no ads or duplicate apps. Users moving from Android should note that WhatsApp transfer and some settings work differently on iOS.

Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max: Questions Buyers Ask

Should I buy the iPhone 18 Pro Max or an Android flagship like the Galaxy S26 Ultra or Vivo X300 Ultra?

Choose the iPhone if video recording, sustained gaming performance and selfies matter most. Choose the Android Ultras if you want stronger long-range zoom, telephoto macro shots, better glare control, a lighter phone or, on the S26 Ultra, a privacy display and S Pen.

Did the iPhone 18 Pro Max get more RAM?

No. It has 12GB of RAM in every storage version, the same amount as the 17 Pro Max. The improvement is in how the memory is connected: it now sits beside the chip, which raises memory bandwidth by about half and helps on-device AI and graphics.

Is it worth upgrading from the iPhone 17 Pro Max?

For most people, no. Daily speed, the display and the design are nearly the same. You gain about 1.5 to 2 hours of battery life, better night and portrait photos, cooler sustained performance and a smaller Dynamic Island, but it is also heavier.

Should I choose the iPhone 18 Pro or the Pro Max for battery life?

The Pro Max lasts longest, but the gap has narrowed. Apple says the smaller 18 Pro matches last year's 17 Pro Max on battery. If the 249 g Pro Max feels too big or heavy in your hand, the 18 Pro is a sensible choice with the same chip and cameras.

Can the iPhone 18 Pro Max record 8K video?

No. Video tops out at 4K, at up to 120fps, with Dolby Vision HDR, ProRes RAW and Apple Log 2. Many Chinese flagships record 8K, but the iPhone is still widely considered the stronger choice for overall video quality and stabilisation.
